Billing FAQ
I want to subscribe but not sure what plan to choose. Can I upgrade to a bigger plan later?
Yes, you can upgrade at any time. Just visit the "Buy book imports" page and click on the "Upgrade" button on a bigger plan.
If I upgrade the plan, would I be charged for both the current and the upgraded plan?
No, you're not charged for both plans in full. The charge is prorated by the number of days the
plans were active during the billing cycle.
For example, if you begin a 30-day billing cycle on a $5.00 plan, and upgrade to a $15.00 plan
on day 15 of the billing cycle, then you're charged $5.00 * (15 / 30) + $15 * (15 / 30) =
$10.00.
Why didn't balance refill after upgrading the plan?
Upgrading the plan increases the upper limit of books you can import during the current billing cycle. However, the balance refills at the beginning of the next billing cycle.
Why is the "Downgrade" button disabled for certain plans?
The "Downgrade" button is disabled if the number of used book imports in the current billing cycle exceeds the plan you want to downgrade to. The "Downgrade" button becomes active at the start of the next billing cycle when the used books imports reset to 0.
What is a billing cycle?
A billing cycle is a consecutive interval of 30 days of the app usage under a subscription. The billing cycle starts when you subscribe to a plan and continues for 30 days, then the next 30 days billing cycle starts, and so on.
Why did the book imports from the one-time purchase disappear after subscribing to a plan?
When subscribing to a plan, the book imports from one-time purchases are no longer available.
Please contact customer support
and we'll issue a refund.
Before subscribing to a plan we recommend using all your book imports from the one-time
